Koolaid Crush was exhibited at Spectrum Miami Art Fair in December 2017. Represented by the DHGIA Gallery out of Newnan, GA.
Dimensions: 30" x 30" - Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas.
Koolaid Crush is painted with acrylic and metallic . This is 5 of 7 in the crush series, a series of wave paintings inspired by Clark Little, a Hawaiian photographer who specializes in wave and sea life photography. This specific piece is inspired by the Electric Koolaid Acid Test written by Tom Wolfe. The wave marks it's moment of found inter subjectivity, creating a dialogue among the facial attributes floating deep within the ripples as they swell and crash back into themselves. Who are they? How long are they? What did they say to one another?
